History and Background of Ignite:
Ignite Glove Company was established in 2021 in Elkton, Maryland. Their owner and founder, Matt Coffin, had witnessed a younger boy ask his mother for a glove. She gave a firm "no" as she explained that they couldn't afford both the glove and the expenses for the boy to play travel ball. It was at that moment that Ignite was born with the goal of counteracting the rising prices of quality gloves in the baseball and softball sectors. Matt shared his vision with his girlfriend and a friend who immediately supported him. Glove samples were then ordered and he hit the ground running in October of 2021 and hasn’t looked back. And oh yeah, that boy who's mom couldn't afford the expense of a new glove was gifted one of the very first Ignite models. That glove is still in use today.

Ignite's continuous goal is to provide high quality custom gloves at affordable prices so our customers can stand out, be proud of their equipment and have an extension of themselves in the playing field.
